Andrew Ferguson Named Rising Star at Business Awards Andrew Ferguson Named Rising Star at Business Awards 30 Sep 2014 Eden Scott Director shines bright at Northern Star Business Awards 31 year old Andrew Ferguson, Director of recruitment firm Eden Scott, has been named Rising Star at this year’s Northern Star Business Awards. The Rising Star Award is a much coveted accolade, awarded to an individual who has demonstrated innovation and has made a major contribution to their company.   Andrew was one of three finalists alongside Jason Arkell from AMEC and Alan Clarke from The Mercure Ardoe House Hotel and Spa. Starting his recruitment career in 2006, Ferguson joined Eden Scott in 2009 to establish the commercial team in Aberdeen. In just 5 years, he has risen from Consultant to Director Level, contributing extensively to the firm’s projected £15 million turnover. In the past year, Andrew has made several key hires to meet a surge in demand from the oil and gas market. His ambitions for the future continue to be ambitious, with Eden Scott forecasted to generate a 20% increase in revenue this year. Andrew Ferguson, commented: “I was very grateful to get to the finalist stage alongside Jason and Alan, but to win is truly remarkable.
